The Zogby Meter

Pollster John Zogby's analysis of data never reveals quite what you expect. In his new book, “The Way We’ll Be,” he interprets survey data in a way that reveals a new zeitgeist in American culture that is less focused on money and endless consumer desire. Instead, Zogby finds Americans increasingly aligned with principals of consensus, attitudes of responsible living and demanding authenticity from media outlets and political leaders. His research suggests a switch in Americans' understanding of their place in a more holistic, globalized community… Is this utopian or just Zogbian?

Guests:

John Zogby, President and CEO of Zogby International, tracking public opinion since 1984 in North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe
