SUPERVISOR MARK RIDLEY-THOMAS TO RECOGNIZE AMERICAN IDOL FINALIST ALLISON IRAHETA WHO ATTENDS SCHOOL IN THE SECOND DISTRICT.

 

Allison was the last female 2009 American Idol Finalist

 

 

WHO:                   Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas will present a Board of Supervisors scroll of appreciation.           

 

 

WHAT:           Seventeen year old, Allison Iraheta attends Green Dot's Animo Ralph Bunche Charter School in the Second Supervisorial District. She was the only female among this year’s final four American Idol finalists.

 

                              Allison, who has been singing since she was a toddler, auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in San Francisco and advanced into the top 13.

 

                        An avid animal lover and runner, Allison has completed the L.A. Marathon twice.
