SHERIFF BACA SPEAKS OUT ON THE THREAT CREATED BY COUNTERFEITING AND PIRACY ON “WORLD ANTI-COUNTERFEITING DAY

           

WHO:              SHERIFF LEE BACA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT, AND CHAIR DEBORAH GREAVES, LOS ANGELES PUBLIC AWARENESS TASK FORCE, INTERNATIONAL ANTI-COUNTERFEITING COALITION.

 

WHAT:            SHERIFF BACA AND CHAIR GREAVES WILL SPEAK ABOUT THE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN LOST TAX REVENUE AND THE JOBS THAT ARE LOST DUE TO COUNTERFEITING AND PIRACY.  THEY WILL ALSO DISCUSS THE WORLDWIDE CAMPAIGN TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM AND THE RESULTS OF RECENT SWEEPS THROUGHOUT THE GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA.
