COLISEUM TO BAR ALCOHOL SALES AT

LAKERS VICTORY CELEBRATION,

COMMISSION PRESIDENT YAROSLAVSKY ANNOUNCES

 

            LA Memorial Coliseum Commission President and County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky announced today that the Coliseum will bar alcoholic beverage sales at Wednesday’s victory celebration for the Los Angeles Lakers.

            Yaroslavsky said in a statement:

            “In the interests of a wholesome and safe celebration of the Lakers’ championship victory, the Coliseum will not sell any alcoholic beverages during Wednesday’s victory rally at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.”
