County Could Lose $852.2 million MORE under latest budget discussions

Press Conference

Los Angeles County would lose an additional $852.2 million minimum if the State Legislature enacts new proposals now under consideration, endangering the County's fiscal stability and ability to deliver critical health, mental health, social services and public safety services.

These losses are in addition to the $253.1 million the State cut in February.

County officials, including Supervisors Zev Yaroslavsky and Michael D. Antonovich, will discuss the potential impact of the budget at a 1:30 p.m. press conference today in Room 830 at the Hall of Administration, 500 W. Temple St., Los Angeles
