ACTIVATES EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER FOR

MICHAEL JACKSON MEMORIAL SERVICE – JULY 6

 

 

LOS ANGELES (Mon., July 6, 2009) – The Los Angeles County Operational Area Emergency Operations Center (CEOC) has been activated to a low staffing level in support of the City of Los Angeles Emergency Operations Center in their planning and response to the Michael Jackson memorial service scheduled to take place at the downtown Los Angeles Staples Center and Nokia Theatre on Tue., July 7.

 

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Operations Center is also activated. The County’s CEOC will remain at a low staffing level activation until further notice.
