            The Marina del Rey Summer Concerts continues its pop series on Saturday, August 1, with a concert by one of America’s most celebrated singing groups, The Four Aces.  The concert, held waterside in Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey, will begin at 7 pm and will be presented free to the public.

            Audiences will recognize the group’s numerous Grammy winning hits – million selling records that are still loved and performed today.  Among them are Tell Me Why, Perfidia, Three Coins in the Fountain, Heart and Soul, Mister Sandman, Love Is a Many Splendored Thing, and Stranger in Paradise.  

            Lead singer for The Four Aces is Fred Diodati, who joined the group as lead singer in 1958 and fronted the foursome on their 1959 success The World Outside and numerous of their other successes.  Other members of the famed singing foursome are Joe Giglio, also an outstanding guitarist; Harry Heisler, who serves as the group’s musical conductor, and Danny Colingo.
