Public Works Launches 24/7 Newsroom Website

Alhambra, CA – The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (Public Works)

launched a newsroom website providing access to Public Works news and information.

Now, through the Internet, you can obtain the latest press releases and media

advisories issued by Public Works. Background information and materials such as a

press kit, Department Fact Sheet, etc., are available on this website.

During disaster emergencies, the website will feature announcements and updates on

an emergency banner at the top of the webpage.

The Public Works newsroom also provides links to resource sites providing information

on watershed management, small business contracting support, and green issues.
