SUPERVISOR RIDLEY-THOMAS VISITS LENNOX CHARTER SCHOOL TO RECOGNIZE CAMPUS FOR ITS RECENT SELECTION AS #21 ON
US NEWS & WORLD REPORT’S ‘TOP 100 BEST HIGH SCHOOLS LIST’
LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas on Friday will salute the successful Lennox Mathematics-Science and Technology Academy, a charter school in his Second Supervisorial District that recently earned the #21spot on US News & World Report’s Top 100 list of Best High Schools.

LOCATION: Lennox Mathematics-Science & Technology Academy Amphitheater, 11036 Hawthorne Blvd., Lennox, CA 90304
Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas will visit the Lennox Mathematics-Science and Technology Academy campus to help celebrate the school’s achievement during an afternoon assembly attended by district and campus administrators and students. He will acknowledge the program for making a significant difference in the lives of challenged local high school students.
A national survey by US News & World Report’s – based on data from the 2006-07 school years – found that many of the top 100 schools it recognized serve all its students well, while preparing them for two-colleges and universities.
The Lennox Mathematics-Science and Technology Academy is chartered by the Lennox Elementary School District.
