Off-duty county probation officer accused of sexually molesting teenage girl

LOS ANGELES – An off-duty county probation officer was charged by the District Attorney’s office today with two counts of sexually molesting a teenage girl during an encounter inside a car near downtown Los Angeles.

Nkosi Emmett Littleton, 36 (dob 9-21-1972), was expected to be arraigned this afternoon in Department 30 of Los Angeles Superior Court on a felony complaint charging him with one count each of lewd act upon a child and oral copulation of a person under the age of 16.

Littleton was arrested by Los Angeles police on Wednesday after he was observed by vice officers in a car with a 15-year-old girl, authorities said. The car was parked on the street at St. Andrews Place and First Street not far from the Los Angeles Civic Center.

Bail in case No. BA 350226 was recommended at $95,000. The defendant has been in police custody since his arrest.

Deputy District Attorney Renee Korn of the Justice System Integrity Division was assigned to prosecute the case.

Littleton, who worked at Camp Kilpatrick in Malibu, faces three years and eight months in state prison if convicted.
