FIREFIGHTERS BURN RELAY
WHO: Southland Firefighters from agencies across Los Angeles County.
WHAT: 15TH Annual Firefighters Burn Relay. This event is an opportunity for Southern California Firefighters, civic groups, burn centers, and local businesses to join together in raising necessary funds to support various programs and services provided by the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
The day will begin with a caravan of 20 to 30 emergency apparatus parading through the streets of Los Angeles County making stops at fire stations from various fire agencies to thank firefighters for their contributions to burn-injured children. Two Simultaneous caravans will be departing from Santa Monica Airport at 7:30am to the finale at L.A. County Fire Department, Fire Station 118, 17056 Gale Avenue, City of Industry. Dr. George Fishbeck and Renee O’Conner will be the celebrity guests attending the event.
