Downtown Los Angeles
WHY: The County recognizes 80 dedicated volunteers, out of a
total of 55,387, as part of National Volunteer Week (April 19-
25) as proclaimed by the U.S. President. Last year
County volunteers donated 3.9 million hours of service to
various County programs, resulting in a cost avoidance of
$77 million.
