ANTONOVICH CALLS ON REGIONAL AGENCY EXECUTIVES TO RELEASE AND POST SALARY AND COMPENSATION INFORMATION  

  

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – In the wake of the City of Bell salary scandal, Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich is requesting that officials who head regional agencies provide and post on their websites salary and compensation information for public inquiry.  In the letters, Antonovich requested total annual compensation including salary, deferred compensation and benefits for Chief Executive Officers or Executive Directors for fiscal years 2009, 2010 and 2011.

 

“Public agencies have an obligation to make executive compensation information available to the public,” said Supervisor Antonovich who sent letters to executives at the following agencies:  

 

 

·           Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority

·           Metropolitan Transportation Authority

·           Southern California Regional Rail Authority

·           Alameda Corridor East Construction Authority

·           South Coast Air Quality Management District

·           Exposition Metro Line Construction Authority

·           Foothill Transit

·           San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments

·           Gateway Cities Council of Governments

·           Antelope Valley Transit Authority

·           Southern California Association of Governments

·           Las Virgines-Malibu Council of Governments

·           South Bay Cities Council of Governments.
