Los Angeles County Day at the Fair is Sept. 12

$5 Admission Coupons Available

 

 

The public is invited to join Los Angeles County employees on Sunday, Sept. 12 to celebrate the Sixth Annual Los Angeles County Day at the County Fair in Pomona.

 

Supervisor Mark-Ridley Thomas, Sheriff Lee Baca, Chief Executive Officer Bill Fujioka, and department heads will join employees in the celebration, which will showcase the County’s services and the employees who deliver those services.

 

Activities will include a noon parade featuring County vehicles and employees, an all-day expo with informational booths staffed by departments, and a 1:30 p.m. horserace in honor of the County.

 

Fair admission coupons are available for $5 for County Day, and may be used by members of the community as well as County employees.  The coupons are available on the County website at lacounty.gov .

 

The theme of the event this year is “Service Excellence.”

 

The public is encouraged to drop by the County’s exhibit in Building 4 anytime during the fair to learn how to sign up to receive County alerts about incidents and projects in their area.
