Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will launch its New Gang Enforcement Team

Who: Chief Cecil Rhambo, and Department Executives; Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
What: The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will unveil a new, gang enforcement mobile command post. This 36-foot mobile command post is the first ever of its kind and will be deployed in various communities to restore balance to neighborhoods where gangs subvert control. The highly-visible trailer is placed in an area of deployment and serves as an operations base for the Gang Enforcement Team deputies. The new mobile command post will be deployed in the City of Cudahy today.
When: Thursday, August 19, 2010, at 3:30 P.M.
