“ALL FOR THE LOVE OF KIDS” EVENT TO BENEFIT LOS ANGELES COUNTY FOSTER YOUTH

WHAT: The 15th Annual “All For The Love of Kids” awards dinner and fundraiser, hosted by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia. This year’s theme, “We Are the World,” reflects the importance of permanent and loving relationships for children in foster care.
“All For The Love of Kids” was initiated in 1995 by Supervisor Antonovich to support the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Families and Children’s Trust Fund. Proceeds from this fundraising event go directly to the Trust Fund which provides financial assistance for services and goods that cannot be paid for with government funding such as orthodontia, school clothing, educational trips, special medical needs, music lessons and team sports.
