RE: Coroner Case Number 2010-03497 – MONJACK, Simon

The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner conducted an autopsy on the body of Simon Monjack, age 40, on May 25, 2010.

The cause of death has been determined as:

·         COMMUNITY ACQUIRED ACUTE BRONCHOPNEUMONIA

·         OTHER CONDITIONS: CARDIOMEGALY WITH FOCAL MYOCARDIAL FIBROSIS

·         MANNER OF DEATH: NATURAL

Blood toxicology studies showed the presence of multiple medications, but all these drugs were detected at therapeutic or sub-therapeutic levels and most likely did not contribute to death.

It is anticipated that the autopsy report will be available within two (2) weeks.
