LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich will host a meeting of the High Desert Corridor Joint Powers Authority on Thursday, September 11, 2008.
The JPA was formed by the initiative of Supervisor Antonovich and San Bernardino County Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt in November 2006 to bring the Counties of Los Angeles and San Bernardino into a single-purpose agency to accelerate the implementation of the High Desert Corridor -- a multi-lane expressway connecting State Route 14 in Palmdale to Interstate 15 in Victorville.
