2ND ANNUAL FAMILY PICNIC FOR THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

CHAPTER OF CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS

 

 

WHO:               COMMANDER DAVID FENDER, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT.

 

WHAT:  CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS IS A NATIONAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CONSISTING OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF FALLEN LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED IN THE LINE-OF-DUTY.  THE MEMBERS ASSIST AND SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER IN RE-BUILDING LIVES AFTER THE TRAGIC AND TRAUMATIC LOSS OF A LOVED ONE.  THIS ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO SEEK SUPPORT FOR THESE FAMILIES LONG AFTER THE TRIBUTES AND CEREMONIAL FUNERALS HAVE OCCURRED.
